This Director coordinates membership and supports the VP of Internal with increasing internal processes for membership and implementing the Innovation Council.
Position Requirements
The Business Students’ Association at Vancouver Island University is dedicated to providing business students with opportunities and experiences outside of the classroom, in order to develop a network of professional, passionate, and community-focused leaders who are not afraid to continually incorporate the art of fun.
The overall coordinator membership and supporter of the VP of Internal is responsible for increasing internal processes for membership and implementing the Innovation Council. In addition responsibilities include, creating an effective membership tracking system including membership fees, helping the VP of Internal with additional administrative tasks as needed (Ex- create membership cards, create engaging monthly update email content), increasing student engagement through class presentations, recruitment to events, and other areas deemed fit. Lastly responsibilities include support VP in recruiting and organizing 2017/18 Innovation Council and other tasks to increase organization within the BSA with an estimated weekly commitment of 3 hours/ week.
